Admission Requirements
The Montessori Children’s Room accepts children from Toddler age (18 months and walking) to first grade. This is a school, not a day care center, therefore, children enroll for the academic year. On a space available basis we will enroll a child during the year.
Length of Day
Daily Enrollment
Toddlers and Pre-school aged children enroll for a minimum of three days. Kindergarten and First Grade students must be enrolled for all 5 days with minimum hours of 9:00am to 3:30pm.
Vaccination Policy
Families are required to submit a copy of the child’s current vaccination record at the time of application. Applicants must be current with the required vaccines. Medical exemptions from immunizations will be accepted subject to the review of a State official.
Policies
We have a non-discriminatory admission policy. Children are placed on class lists and waiting lists in order of submission of application form and deposit. Preference is given to returning children, siblings of enrolled children and the school’s need for balanced classes.
